Woof! I'm Iggy, and I'm new here at Freedom Fields. My siblings and I were abandoned in the woods after our previous "owner" left us to fend for ourselves. It was scary, and we had to survive on scraps. Thankfully, a nice lady saw what happened and got BFP involved, and the team at Freedom Fields came to our rescue! I'm still getting used to all the love and care I've never had before, but I'm remarkably sweet despite what I've been through. Since being rescued, my tail has not stopped wagging! I even let the staff hold me. I'm hoping to find a patient, loving family to show me that not all humans are bad. Could that be you?

Interview
If your application is approved, you will be contacted by our team for a pre-adoption interview.

Home Check
After your pre-adoption interview, you will join a video call with our team to complete a virtual home check.
4.
Take the Pet Home
Once your interview, home check, and reference checks are complete, you will pick up your new companion to begin an adoption trial.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
If, after an adoption trial, you decide that your new companion is your perfect match, you will then sign the adoption contract.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
