My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Porche, a young and delightful feline with a heart full of affection.

She's the epitome of a cuddle bug, always ready to curl up in a warm lap and purr her heart out. Porche starts to purr as soon as you pick her up. Porche is sweet and gentle, making her a joy to be around. Her friendly nature makes her an instant hit with every person she meets.

She's also quite the foodie, always curious to try new flavors. She eats her food, other cats food, the dog food and will attempt to sample all people food! Porche isn't food aggressive, just very curious about all things food related. Her persistence is admirable, never giving up on anything she sets her mind to.

Porche is a fan of kittens, often seen engaging in play or cuddles with them. Unfortunately she has a harder time making friends with adult cats, they tend to pick on her.

She has a lot of love to give and is eagerly waiting for a forever home where she can share it.

Adopting Porche would mean gaining a loyal, loving companion who will fill your life with joy and warmth.

Porche is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
