Hi, my name is Pinky, I`m approximately 3 years old and came to Macomb County Animal Control after my owner passed away and there was no one to care for me.

I am a very sweet, social and affectionate girl who love attention and being petted. I have lived with other cats and have gotten along, however, I have never lived with dogs, so if you have one, please be sure to do slow and proper introductions so we may live in harmony.

It is recommended that children in the home be over the age of 5 and meet me prior to adoption. Please be sure that you give me lots of TLC and time to adjust to my new home and surroundings.

If you are interested in meeting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.

My adoption fee is $25

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
