My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axel Rose's Compatibility:
Dogs - Meet & Greet
Cats - Yes
Kids - Yes

Meet Axel Rose, the rockstar Husky who's ready to steal the show and your heart! Full of energy and personality, Axel is housebroken (with a preference for frequent breaks) and crate-trained, so he's familiar with a good routine and knows how to settle down when needed.

In his previous home, Axel lived with other dogs, a cat, and kids-and did amazing with all of them. He's the perfect balance of playful and affectionate, making him an ideal companion for families with other pets or children.

One of Axel's standout qualities is how well he walks on a leash. Whether it's a casual stroll or a more adventurous outing, this rockstar keeps things smooth and easy, making walks with him a breeze.

If you're looking for a Husky who's full of love, energy, and charm, Axel Rose is ready to take center stage in his new forever home. Come meet him at HSHC today!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
