My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 3 years
Weight: 3.7 kg

It's the stellar Stella with the stunning set of pipes! This loud little lady will definitely help ensure that you are never lonely again; you'll be sure to hear her calling for attention no matter where you are in the home! That's part of the Bengal breed, after all, so it's best to be prepared. Stella is also a very active and energetic feline and would need a lot to do to keep her busy! That's means plenty of playtime, puzzle feeders, attention, and enrichment activities. It's also been noted that Stella will try to chase other animals, so it's unknown if she needs to be the only pet in the home. But don't worry; with Stella around, you'll certainly never be bored or lonely again! So come say hello to Stella and see if she is the right fit for you!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
