My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Lainey, a brown tabby female kitten born to my mom Lily at Animal Ark. Mom was a pregnant stray that no one claimed, so a kind young woman got her inside to safety until a spot opened up at the shelter. Within a week of getting to Animal Ark, my siblings (Lennox and Leah) and I were born. We went to a great foster home where we could relax, play, and grow. Now we are ready to embark on our next adventure! I can't go to a home with children under the age of five. It would be great if I could be adopted with one of my sisters. Kittens develop better social skills when they have another playmate, so a playful resident cat/kitten would be another good option.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
