Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Zar, Quasar (QuaQua) and Kamby are very bonded brothers and must be adopted together. ***There are no exceptions to this***.
Zar- The oldest at 5 he was the first dog in the home.
Zar is a Malti-poo and looks like a stuffed animal! Even though he is 5 he looks like a puppy and has the exuberance to back it up! He loves being held like a baby, and sitting in your lap. When he plays, he plays like vicious beast, but is gentle and doesn't bite down. He is the mouthiest of the three and so should not be with small children. He is learning to walk politely on leash, but even in his current excitement, he doesn't weigh all that much so it's not too hard to manage him. He loves his dog brothers and will groom them by sweetly licking their eyes and ears. He does whine a little in the car but seems to enjoy the adventure.
Kamby- The middle brother at 4 years old and was the second dog in the home
Kamby is a Bichon-terrier mix and looks like a White Seal Pup!! He is the most mellow of the trio and also most timid. He loves to lay near you as you scratch his belly, but also will go sleep in his crate or at the foot of the bed when he wants some alone time. He can get very excited when meeting new dogs and is learning that not every dog wants to play as physically as he does. He is very smart, a great listener, and can be redirected super easily! He wants to please his person and will smile when he is happy. He can be a picky eater. He does well "sitting nicely".
Quasar "Qua-Qua"- Is the youngest at 3
Qua- Qua is a Bichon Frise and is 100% obsessed with squeaky toys and playing fetch!. He plays with toys until they are just empty fabric and stuffing strewn all over the carpet!! While he is the most independent of the trio, and can play with his toys for hours, when you tell him it's enough, he will settle down to snuggle close to you. He likes to lay his little body right up against your side or back and take a snooze. Qua is great on car rides and doesn't make any noise. He can be timid with his harness and so going slowly helps him build trust.
All three are crate trained, housebroken in their foster home, and do not damage the house. They are mouthy and jumpy so would not be good with small children.
They are all sweet, cute, and cuddly and are a lovely little pack. Anyone looking for an instant pack would be lucky to have these boys!!
They enjoy walks, car rides, playing in the yard, and relaxing in bed. They don't love baths but deal with them, and we are working on desensitizing them from getting their paws touched and their nails trimmed.
***They must be adopted together, as all three are very bonded.*** Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. They are located in Central TX
Their Human died unexpectedly, and they are all each other has.
They are a ready made family.
Are they YOUR new family?!
Small Paws Rescue, as always, is committed to rescuing Bichons and placing them in loving homes.
