My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty Lou is a 9 year old 25lb Jack Russell Terrier. Don't let her age fool you...this girl still has a lot of pep  in her step. She is friendly, playful and sweet.
She is crate and house trained and will let you know when she needs to go out.  Betty is good in the house and is well behaved. She listens well and comes when called.
Betty Lou gets along well with other dogs and she plays well with them.
She is a quiet girl that likes to trot around the yard and then curl up in a nice soft bed close to her person. She loves belly rubs and back scratches.  She is the perfect little companion. Betty Lou is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Go meet their pets

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.

You can view our schedule of events at www.adoptapitrescue.org/events or on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/adoptapitrescue
