Cowboy is a 7 lb.Toy Poodle mix. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old. Cowboy came to us from a commercial breeder with little life experience . He is the sweetest, friendliest little guy – he wants to meet every person and dog, no matter the size, and play! He adores living in a house and sleeping in the big bed, walking on a leash and exploring on walks, riding in a car, running and playing in the yard and snuggling with you anytime you are ready. He is a champion sleeper – once he’s in bed with you, that’s it! You can move him around and he just melts into the covers without waking up. Cowboy would be happiest in a home with another small dog to play with, or opportunities to socialize regularly with other dogs. He needs a securely fenced yard - he can be an escape artist! This adorable little guy is doing well with his house training, but is still working on it. He needs an at home person to continue his socialization and house training. He is fostering in the Northeast area of the USA.

Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue, Inc. is a national rescue organization that is dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of toy purebred and mixed breed dogs. We accept dogs in need from shelters, other rescuers, and individuals giving up their pets for a variety of reasons. Our furbabies are examined and treated by our veterinarians, innoculated, and spayed or neutered before placement. They are also thoroughly temperament assessed. We believe that, somewhere, there is a home for every dog, but that we have a responsibility to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience and loving hearts, and an understanding of the furbaby mind.
