Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bigz, the 80-lb lap dog who has no idea he's not a Chihuahua! At just 2 years old, this Pit Mix is convinced that your lap is the most comfortable seat in the house. Walking? He’s a pro—Bigz has mastered the art of strolling like a gentleman, and he's just waiting for you to join him on his next adventure.
And let’s not forget fetch! Bigz lives for a good game of fetch, even if he's not always convinced that giving the ball back is part of the rules. So, if you’re looking for a big, lovable, goofy buddy who will think your lap is his personal throne, Bigz is your guy! Just be prepared for snuggles—and lots of them!
If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion, Bigz would love to meet you. He’s ready to bring joy (and some serious cuddle time) into your life!
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
