Meet Sophie – Our Sweet, Energetic Poodle/Spaniel Mix!
 
Sophie has just arrived at her foster home and is settling in beautifully! At just two months old, Sophie was surrendered by her previous owners who weren’t prepared for the energy of a playful puppy. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family that can give her the love and care she deserves.  Sophie is being fostered in the Clarington area.
 
While we’ll learn more about Sophie’s health soon during her vet visit (where she'll start her vaccinations and get microchipped), we already know she’s a healthy, bouncy little girl with tons of love to give. We believe she’s a poodle/spaniel mix, which means she’s not only cute but also smart and affectionate.
 
Sophie is full of puppy energy and loves spending time outdoors. Her foster mom thinks she’d thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content. She’s also doing well with house training and would be ok with a playful doggy sibling to keep her company. Sophie sleeps well in her crate at night, enjoys her meals (and treats!), and has been learning to walk on leash.
 
Like any puppy, Sophie has a playful side and sometimes nips, but she’s learning quickly and is easily distracted with toys. She’s also a Velcro pup who loves to be close to her humans and follow them around the house. While she’s still a bit nervous about being left alone, that’s something she’s working on – after all, she’s still a baby! Sophie’s tiny bark is too cute for words, and she uses it to get your attention when she’s ready for cuddles or playtime.
 
Sophie’s foster family already adore her and thinks she’s the best. She would benefit from puppy training classes to continue her socialization and reinforce positive behaviors. If you’re looking for a loving, fun companion to add to your family, Sophie might be the perfect match for you!
