Kyra is a 2 year old Siberian husky ready for her own family! Unlike some other huskies, Kyra is low energy and does not try to break out of fences. Kyra was heartworm positive on intake and has completed treatment!

Kyra is friendly with all but can take a while to warm up. She doesn’t pull while on the leash, is
house trained, and doesn’t attempt to destroy anything when left alone. Her foster says she acts like an old lady and would do well on a farm; she’s easygoing, enjoys car rides, likes to following her foster around the farm, but doesn’t play much. Cat, chicken, livestock, and dog friendly!

Kyra really wants to find a family that will love her and understand she grumbles (husky talks) a lot but just likes being around her people. She would do great with a family that understands she will come to you when she’s ready for affection, especially head scratches!
