Start holiday shopping early and get yourself a Pitopotamus! He’s a 2-year-old Pitbull sweetheart who’s looking for a home for all the holidays. A little nervous in the beginning, this 74lb “diamond in the ruff” pup soon shines with a calming environment and some positive training. After getting to know you he will get so excited to see you, he’ll jump up to greet you. An active yet quiet life is the only gift on his wishlist this year.

The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

You'll meet with a counselor to determine a good match for you.

Meet the Pet

You'll meet pets you're interested in provided it's an appropriate match.

Sign Adoption Contract

We'll go over any behavior or medical notes so that you have a clear understanding of your pet's needs. You'll sign the notes and contract.

5.
Pay Fee

We only do adoptions in person (please bring all family members).

We will ask you to fill out our Adoption Survey at the shelter and talk to an Adoption Counselor, who will help you find your perfect match.
