My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Darla the Poodle Mix.

She is a young girl that is ready to learn and grow! She has made incredible strides since being out of the shelter and is ready for a home of her own!

**She is a large puppy so someone okay with some jumping and being able to redirect her nippy behavior is needed
**Only older children would be preferred due to the large puppy behavior
**Great with other dogs and would love another on in her next home. She plays wonderfully and just loves to be around them
**She is a higher energy puppy and will do best in a home where she gets plenty of time to play and exercise. Would make a wonderful adventure dog
**Great at breweries if you are into that
**She is sleeping through the night in her crate and naps perfectly! Loves her crate and it is a great place for her to turn off her brain and calm down.
**Walking great on leash
**Good at the Groomers

Check out more photos and videos on her foster moms instagram @wander-adventurously

** She is currently at 40lbs but is quite skinny and needs to gain some weight
** Fully Vetted (spayed, bloodwork run, shots up to date)
** Comes with 2 free dog training sessions
** She will need monthly grooming - please do not apply if you are unable to provide that to her

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
