Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Howdy, partner! Meet Cowboy, a 2 year old Dachshund mix with the fastest tongue in the West and a tail that rarely stops wagging. When he’s really excited, it goes full-on helicopter mode!
Cowboy is a smart little guy with a lot of enthusiasm for life. He’s instantly best friends with everyone he meets, including dogs and children, and has a blast running around or playing with toys. He loves walks and quickly learned not to pull on leash. He learned “sit” his first day in foster. Now, he is working on “stay” and playing fetch. He seems to be mostly house-trained and while he doesn’t love the crate, he settles down pretty quickly.
At 13 lbs, Cowboy is a little on the skinny side but should still be around 15 lbs when at his ideal weight. In addition to his shining personality, his striking blue eyes, short stubby legs and looong body make him irresistibly adorable. But don’t let his little legs fool you, he can still run and play with the big dogs, which he does. Speaking of dogs, he does best with other playful dogs as he can a bit too friendly for more mellow dogs. He does need a cat-free home as he seems to want to chase and bark at them.
Cowboy’s the perfect mix of sweet, playful, and all-around lovable. If you’re looking for a fun-loving sidekick to join you on life’s adventures, Cowboy is ready to ride off into the sunset with you."
Cowboy is being fostered in Loveland, Colorado.
