My name is Skeeter (F)!

Adoption Fee: $200 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! 

Skeeter is a little sweetheart.  She does great with dogs her size and medium size however,  she will get testy with some large dogs.  It just depends on the personality of the larger dog. This might be due to the situation she came from.  A couple who had her also had a very aggressive large dog along with 10 other dogs of various sizes.  We think the larger dog might of been that way towards her so now she just instantly goes into defense mode when meeting large dogs,  over 45pds.

     We are just learning about her housebreaking skills and will update her bio as more is learned.  She does well in a crate.  Skeeter loves going for walks and would be a great traveling buddy.  

  Skeeter had a dental in 2022. She didn't lose any teeth.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
