My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Teddy – Your New Best Friend!

Teddy is an 8-9-year-old Poodle mix looking for his foster or foster-to-adopt home. Due to his owner’s health issues, she can no longer give him the attention he needs, and she will soon be entering assisted living.

Teddy is:

  • Super friendly and loves everyone

  • Dog and kid-friendly

  • Not house trained but uses pee pads

This sweet boy is a wonderful companion, especially for someone looking for a loyal, low-energy friend. He could use a little help shedding some weight, so a family committed to regular walks would be ideal.

If you think Teddy is the perfect fit for your family or you can provide him a temporary landing place for vetting, please apply!

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
