My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Xena!

Description: Xena is a beautiful, intelligent, and energetic pup who’s ready to find her forever home. With her beautiful black and white coat and expressive eyes, she’s sure to steal your heart. At just a year old, she’s got the perfect blend of youthful enthusiasm and growing maturity.

Personality:  Xena is a smart girl who knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. She’s eager to learn more and appears house trained, making her a great companion for an active owner who enjoys spending time outdoors. Her Border Collie and Cattle Dog heritage means she’s got plenty of energy and a keen mind, so she’ll thrive in an environment where she can engage in physical and mental activities.

Home Environment: Xena is generally okay with other dogs, so she could be a great addition to a multi-dog household. However, her instincts tell her that cats are best chased rather than befriended, so she may do best in a home without feline friends.  While Xena is friendly and affectionate, she’s not the best fit for a home with small children due to her energy and herding instincts. She’s looking for a family that can give her the attention, exercise, and training she needs.

Adoption/Foster Information:  Xena is available for adoption and is currently in a foster home.  If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and smart dog to join your adventures, Xena might just be the perfect match for you. Please reach out to us to learn more and see if this sweet girl could be your new best friend!

If you would like to fill out the online form for adopting or fostering, please complete the adoption form here (for adoption) or the foster application here (for fostering).
