This helps Rescue Row with pet care costs.
Here is an update from Thor’s foster mom! "His name should be Shadow because he’s always right by my side, wanting to be close to his humans. We’re working on potty training and crate training, and he’s doing great—especially since he’s so food motivated! Thor loves to cuddle up and nap on people when he’s not busy playing with the cat or his favorite toys." Thor can be a barker, due to this, no apartments please! Thor is a 1 1/2 year old, 12 lb Dachshund. If you are ready to add this little shadow to your family, we are now accepting applications at www.rescuerowinc.org.
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
