My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Name: Pintail

Breed: terrier mix

Sex: Female

Age: 11 weeks (6/29/24)

Weight: about 8 lbs

Medical Needs: She will need to be spayed. Procedure can be scheduled in Georgetown, Dover or Wilmington for their appointment which GRR will schedule or at adopters vet of choice with proof of neuter by years end.

Housebroken: close to it

Crate trained: yes and sleeps through the night

Good in the car: yes

Good on a leash: yes

Energy level: puppy! High energy and needs to be worn out to sleep well

Need a fenced in yard: no

Dog Friendly:yes but is very scared at first meeting dogs especially bigger dogs. She needs a slow introduction and she warms up.

If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No but she loves playing so another dog would be great for her

Cat Friendly? Yes

Kid Friendly: yes but needs super vision - puppy teeth and she likes to use them

If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with?

Any with proper supervision

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?

Pintail is very curious. She loves to play and chew (on anyone and anything including you ). She is the leader of the pack. When Pintail isn’t asleep she needs something to occupy her at all times, like a toy or bone. She is very shy with meeting new dogs but once she warms up she’s happy to make a new friend.
