My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nano is as snuggly as he is handsome! He enjoys spending time on the screened in area where he can watch volunteers walking the dogs, tiny lizards occasionally dart across the screen, and still be ready to join in the fun when the other kittens play with each other. Nano also loves to play with toys, especially ones that make a noise when rolled around. He especially enjoys spending time with staff and volunteers, getting gently stroked and petted.

Complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this happy, loving, fun kitten. See for yourself what a terrific addition Nano would make to almost any home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
