My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey – Your Sweet & Playful Best Friend! ❤️

Honey is a loving, energetic 3-4-year-old pup who’s ready to find her forever home! She’s full of fun, affection, and so much personality—the perfect mix of playful and cuddly.

Why Honey is Amazing

✅ House & Crate Trained – No potty accidents here!
✅ Dog Friendly – With slow introductions & monitored play for now.
✅ Loves Toys & Playtime – Fetch, tug-o-war, and even tossing her own toys around!
✅ Car Ride Enthusiast – She’s always up for an adventure!
✅ People Lover – Wants to hug everyone she meets!
✅ Great for Baths – No fuss, just a good girl during bath time!
✅ Leash Training in Progress – She’s still learning, but making great progress.

Ideal Home for Honey

  • An active family who will play and go on adventures with her.
  • A home with no cats but possibly a dog sibling (with proper introductions).
  • Someone willing to continue her leash training and provide lots of love and playtime!

Additional adoption info

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
