Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
“Weighing in at 9.5lbs, Chiki is one of the sweetest calmest cats you’ll come across. She is very mild tempered, loves to play, LOVES a good cuddle, and really enjoys the pets and scratches. She is timid around new people, but with treats and safe spaces she warms up quickly. She can get scared easily by loud or new noises, but over time gets used to it. She would possibly do well with other cats (she came from a very close litter of 4), but it may take her some time to adjust to new furry friends. She can be very active at times, running with the zoomies, but usually you’ll find her cuddled in her bed or bathing in whatever sun spots are around. She’ll be a great addition to any family!”

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
