Meet Marble! She is the quiet one, a bit shy at first but will warm up to you but remember she will spook easily. She is more of a cats cat and will easily make friends with other cats first. Marble looks forward to her dry treat in the morning and in the evening. She is great with cats and small dogs but has not been around bigger dogs. She has not been with children either. Once she is comfortable she will be very playful and talkative and want to be next to you. She is litter box trained. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
