Meet Jace, a 5-year-and-3-month-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix with short, sleek brown fur and soulful brown eyes to match. Weighing in at a perfect 40 pounds, Jace is a medium-sized bundle of love who is currently in search of his forever home. He is now ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who can give him the love and care he deserves.
Jace is the perfect blend of fun and laid-back. With a medium energy level, he enjoys the company of both adults and children, and he is already made quite a few doggy friends in his daily encounters. While we are still unsure about how his feelings towards cats, we know Jace has plenty of love to give to the right family. His leash manners are on point, and his future family can look forward to taking him on leisurely walks around the neighborhood, to the dog park, or even along a beach where he can enjoy the sights and smells. He is also a fan of a good game of fetch or tug-of-war in the backyard.
In addition to being a great walking companion, Jace has already mastered the sit command and loves nothing more than working for treats. His intelligence and willingness to learn mean he is likely to pick up new commands and tricks quickly, making training a fun and rewarding experience for both him and his new family.
Jace has learned and mastered his house training. He is ready to step forward and show his skills to his new family. It is important to remember that although Jace is house trained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. After an active day of play, walks, and learning, Jace will be more than ready to curl up on the couch and relax with his new family, dreaming of more adventures to come.
