My name is Mochi!

Are you looking for a little best friend? This is your cat. He is the most playful, energetic, hilarious kitty who loves to get into whatever you are doing.
He will jump/flip like an acrobat for a feather on a string and chase anything that moves. More of a people cat than a cat-cat if that makes sense. He will bond deeply with his person.
I think Mochi might be friends with a bigger cat that could put him in his place, but he could certainly be an only cat as well. He plays hard and is basically still a kitten. Mochi weighs 10 lbs now but will probably get bigger.
I love this guy, but unfortunately, Mochi always jumps on my older female cat. He has never hurt her, but she now retreats to her perch all day and clearly feels terrorized. We have not seen him around dogs. I would not worry about him and older kids (like my 13yo son) who are careful about the play-fighting. We keep his nails trimmed pretty short, and it is adorable when he baps us with “soft paws”.
