Meet Reecie, a sweet and friendly 5-month-old hound mix who’s ready to steal your heart! This little girl was found all alone on the side of the road in southern Alabama, and when a kind stranger stopped, she ran up to their car as if asking for help. Now safe in a foster home, Reecie has settled in beautifully and gets along great with her foster siblings.

Weighing about 30 to 35 pounds, we don’t think she’s going to be too big. Reecie is growing up to be a wonderful companion. She’s eager to please, playful, and will bring so much joy to her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving pup, Reecie is your girl! Could you be the family she’s been waiting for?

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
