Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.
Introducing the Black and White litter. These 4 brothers, born 5/30/24, look forward to bringing their hijinks into your homes. This litter has:
OREO - medium-haired black & white (green collar in video)
PENGUIN - short-haired black & white (blue collar in video)
TUX - short haired black (grey collar in video)
PANDA - short haired black (purple collar in video)
Of the foursome, Oreo and Panda are the most outgoing; Tux is cautious but playful; and Penguin is the deep thinker of the group, who seems to feel taking his photos and video for display purposes is a major affront (um... sorry, not sorry, Penguin).
All of these kittens should adapt well to pretty much any sort of home (though Penguin will need a little extra patience as he processes yet ANOTHER unasked-for change in his circumstances). While cats are always safest indoor-only, these four have good coloring and temperaments to have a chance at happy indoor/outdoor lives. This group is young enough to adapt to children and other pets.
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $65 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
