My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buddha! Buddha is a sweet kitty who lived his entire life in one home with his sister Joanie. Buddha was surrendered when he developed a urinary blockage and his owner was unable to provide care. He is now on a urinary diet and doing amazing! It's been a hard transition for Buddha to be in a foster home, and he longs for a home of his own. Buddha is a talker and lover, curious, and active. He likes to be involved in whatever you are doing. Buddha will need a slow intro to his new home. He is very overstimulated for the first few weeks in a new environment, and will act friendly but then growl and bite when touched. This is not what he is like once he adjusts! He is incredibly loving and gentle with his foster, but it did take several weeks of decompression. He will need to be started in a single room in his new home and allowed to decompress. Once he adjusts, he is a very, very sweet and loving companion. Buddha has always lived with his sister, and although we think they would do fine apart, it would be wonderful if someone gave them a home together..
