My name is Aurora. I was born in a backyard or shed in Tucson and fed by a nice lady in her backyard. I used to play with her small dog and just sunbathed on the grass. I was adopted to a nice home in September of 2024 and just recently found outside HOPE animal shelter who took me in and contacted SOS. They reached out to my initial adopters without success. After over 1 week of waiting for my people to respond to the outreach and pick me up, I was put back up for adoption to find a forever home again - for real this time.
I'm extremely affectionate and outgoing. If you pick me up, I will melt into your arms and place my head on your shoulder. I will purr as soon as (and forever long) you give me pets and will request more head and chin scratches if you let me. Every stranger is just a friend I haven't met yet.
I'm as playful as cats come, I love the fish pole kind of toys but I'm also okay in hunting the stuffed feathery thingies. I also make biscuits on a blanket; 'm super loving and would love to spend my whole day snuggled up to you.
I moved into the cattery at the PetSmart Adoption Center (3850 W River Road) and you can either meet me there (with a SOS rep present on Saturday/Sundays) or arrange for a meet-and-greet by submitting an adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application
