It’s impossible not to be in a better mood after spending time with Consuela. This happy girl is full of energy, affection, and just the right amount of silly! We don’t know where her puppies are and that heartbreak is something we witness far too often, we are determined to make sure Consuela gets the love and care she deserves. She’s got the cutest crooked underbite, and when she gets excited, she tucks in her booty and zooms around low to the ground. It’s a toss-up between wanting to run and play or flopping over for belly rubs! Consuela is ready to enjoy life to the fullest and be treated like a loving companion.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
