My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Lexus is currently parked in a foster home, and she is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Lexus is a lovely, lanky puppy who is absolutely thriving in her foster home! With her graceful build and playful demeanor, she exudes a charm that captures the hearts of everyone she meets. Each day is a new adventure for Lexus as she explores her surroundings with curiosity and excitement. Her playful antics bring joy to her foster family, and she quickly bonds with both people and any furry friends she encounters.

Lexus is eager to learn and is already picking up on basic commands, showcasing her intelligence and willingness to please. She enjoys playtime, whether it`s romping around with toys or engaging in lively games of chase. At the same time, she has a sweet, affectionate side that shines through when she cuddles up for some well-deserved relaxation. With her gentle spirit and vibrant personality, Lexus is sure to make a wonderful addition to your home!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
