My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pleased to meet you! I’m Honey and like my name, I am nothing but sweet, from the furnishings in my ears to the tufts of fuzzy fur on the pads of my little feet. Speaking of my fur, it is so soft and silky to the touch!

I am a 4 month old medium fur brown tabby girl but my black stripes are very eye-catching. I have a bold racing stripe down my back and through my tail which is somewhat reminiscent of a racoon tail (but way softer). I am always hoping that because I am so soft, you will want to give me tons of pets. I just LOVE pets around my chin and face or better yet on my belly. You won’t have to guess how much I love this because my purr motor is a loud one!

I am cautious when I first meet you but once you earn my trust, I am all in! I will rub up against your feet or face if you happen to be sitting somewhere that I can climb up and make you pay attention to me! I love crawling into your lap and sometimes will even curl up for a nap with you.

I live with my brother, Howie, and we have a great time together. He is bigger than me but I really hold my own and often get the better of him when we are chasing each other or vying for the toys. I am a real jumper and I just love wand toys. Honestly there aren’t many toys I don’t enjoy, especially if it leads to a game of chase and tumble with Howie. We are a real pair for bringing the fun!

I would love to be your cuddle companion and would do best in a home with adults and school aged children. I would definitely enjoy another feline friend….especially if it was my big brother, Howie! We really balance each other out.

Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! More about this rescue

Feral Fixers is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) of feral cats within DuPage county. As part of our mission, we also rescue friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned outside. We socialize and provide medical care to these kitties in our foster homes, and then make them available for adoption.
