Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Josie arrives in Wisconsin on September 29th.
Josie will be about 10 months old when she arrives in Wisconsin. She is a petite girl weighing only about 7 pounds. Her foster said that she is a happy little dog up for anything. She is a quiet, social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs. Her zest for life is contagious, and despite facing numerous challenges, she wakes up every day with boundless joy. Though small in size, her heart knows no limits. She adores her foster family, comprising three towering dogs and two tiny seniors. She was left at a vet hospital and ended up having to have her leg amputated due to a serious break. But, guess what? She's unstoppable! This little champ doesn't let anything hold her back! This lovable girl is ready to become a cherished member of your family, whether you have other pets
or not. She loves the great outdoors but her favorite thing is cuddling with her foster family and furry friends.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
