My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Waffles, a dog who is more than just a pet, she`s a friend. Her friendly nature and sweet disposition make her a joy to be around. She loves playing fetch, going on walks, and simply spending time with her human companions. Waffles is known for her playful antics, and she has a knack for making everyone around her smile. She is an adult dog, which means she has outgrown the puppy phase and has a calm, gentle demeanor. But don`t let her age fool you, Waffles still has plenty of energy and love to give. Her friendly, sweet, and playful personality makes her the perfect companion for any family or individual. Adopt Waffles, and you`ll not only gain a loyal friend, but also give her the loving home she deserves.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
