Meet Gina, a lively adult dog who loves to play and socialize. Her energy is infectious and she's always ready for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. She especially loves car rides and especially does not love baths. Don't let her energy fool you, though. Gina is also a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than a good snuggle session while sitting on your lap as you pet her. She weighs 64 pounds and considers herself a lap dog. She never wants to be alone. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a perfect addition to any family. She is easygoing, friendly, and playful with everyone she meets but she can be a bit mouthy with kids. Gina does have a bit of a chewing habit, but with some patience and training, she can learn to chew only on her toys. She'll need your help with house training and her jumpy leash walking style. As a social butterfly, Gina loves to meet new people and animals. She's incredibly friendly and lovable, and she's sure to bring joy to any home. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
