My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buzz came in with his brother Woody and sister (who transferred to another shelter) extremely underweight and scared, after showing up at someone’s farm! However, they are the sweetest boys!! They both are affectionate and shy, but coming out of their shells. Neither like leashes, but they are learning to, and both don`t care one bit about cats:) Both of these boys need to gain some weight and currently in foster to do just that. They will be fabulous family dogs and are ready to go to their forever homes. Just know that whoever gets these fellas will need to be gentle, loving and give them time to adjust and just be happy dogs!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Find pets online or in person. We do encourage meet and greets with our pets to see how they fit into your lifestyle.

2.

Submit Application

We also require a vet reference if you have a current one, and 2 personal references, with names and phone numbers to call.

3.

Approve Application

If references check out, you will be approved for adoption.

4.

Take the Pet Home

We have a 2-week trial visit for dogs. We hold your paperwork/adoption fee and you take the dog up to 2 weeks to get to know each other.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At any point during the trial visit time, we will final the adoption only after you let us know that "he or she is ours"!

Additional adoption info
