Lady came to HSNEI from another humane society. She is looking for a quiet, yet active home that will give her time and support as she gains comfort with new surroundings, people, and maybe dogs and cats. She was friendly with the dog and cat in her previous home and she likes children and often gains comfort with them before new adults she meets. She is a watch dog and will bark at unfamiliar people or animals who approach her house or yard. She loves to play and gets very excited about squeaky toys, balls, and playing tug. She is athletic and will often run at full speed and she can clear short fences with little effort. She also likes to sit on the couch next to you and sleep in bed with you. If Lady may be a fit for your family, fill out the adoption form today; visit www.hsnei.org/adoptabledogs!!

Our rescue and adoption program provides temporary care at the Love & Friendship Adoption Center and in foster homes for unwanted and abandoned animals. We also provide a website to help in finding adoptive homes for these animals.
In 2013 the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program of Northeast Iowa (SNAP) joined HSNEI to become one organization working for animals in northeast Iowa.
HSNEI is a Best Friends Network Partner and a PetCo Foundation Partner.
