Meet Mozart, a sweet and talkative 10-year-old kitty with a heart full of love! This black-and-white charmer spent most of his life outdoors before finding safety with Austin Pets Alive!, and now he's ready for a loving indoor home where he can thrive.
Mozart is the definition of affectionate. He'll follow you everywhere, rubbing his head against you and eagerly soaking up head rubs (and even the occasional belly rub). He's always by your side, ready to bond. He's also quite the conversationalist! If you talk to him, he'll meow right back, and sometimes if you say hello, he might just mimic it back to you!
Though Mozart isn't very interested in toys, he makes up for it with his love for human interaction. He's not overly playful but is always excited to be near you. Mozart has been diagnosed with stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth, typically treated with removal of teeth and supportive care) and kidney issues, requiring a wet food diet and daily medication. He's looking for a home that can give him the care and attention he needs, including head rubs, love, and cuddles!
Mozart is a loving and adorable companion! If you can provide a supportive environment and are ready for a sweet, talkative shadow to follow you around, Mozart will fill your home with warmth and love!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Mozart, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
