My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Behold, Minnow - the 6 month old Mini House Panther - a true master of the ancient art of... well, whatever kittens do. Equal parts Kung Fu Master and Professional Napper, Minnow has trained in the sacred ways of chaos, cuddles and perfectly timed clumsiness.

  • His first rule of kitten combat: Accidentally knock over a few things but look adorable while doing it. He's still perfecting his skills.

  • His second rule: always makes friends...especially if the enemy is a shoelace, a child or an unsuspecting dust bunny

  • Fearless and Bold, Minnow tackles each day like a kitten warrior going into battle - whether he's scaling the couch, pouncing on invisible foes or stealthily sneaking up on the robot vacuum

  • When not plotting his next adventure, Minnow can be found meditating (napping) or showering you with love

Are you ready to adopt the legend? Minnow's journey is just beginning, and he's looking for a sidekick (or two) to join him in his ultimate quest to find a home full of love and adventure!

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
