My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luci is a sweet and affectionate male cat with beautiful, creamy orange fur of medium length. Born in 2022, Luci may have started life as the runt of the litter, but he’s grown into a confident, loving companion. One of his most charming features is the tiny polka dot on his orange nose, which adds even more personality to his already unique look.

Luci is a people-cat through and through. He loves being around his humans and will follow you from room to room just to be in your presence. Whether you’re working, relaxing, or doing chores, Luci will be your loyal shadow. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves to show his love with cuddles, purring, and gentle nuzzles.

As with many orange cats, Luci is also quite the talker! He’ll let you know when he’s ready for some attention or a meal with his vocal meows. His expressive nature makes him an excellent communicator, and you’ll always know what’s on his mind.

If you’re looking for a cat who will love you unconditionally and brighten your days with his sweet personality, Luci is the perfect match. Adopt Luci and give this loving boy the forever home he deserves!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.September 18, 2024, 11:22 am

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
