Mulan is a 1-year-old, 12-pound female chihuahua mix.
She has adjusted very well during her time with her foster family in the New York area.
Mulan enjoys relaxing on the sofa, eating treats, and following her sister and foster parent. She also enjoys playing with toys when no one is looking.
She is still learning “sit” and working on other obedience training.
During her time with her foster family, she is working on housetraining both indoors and learning to use a pee pad. Her forever family will need to continue working with Mulan to reinforce and advance the progress she's been making.
Mulan is still working on her leash skills. She gets frightened easily but is a good sport about going outside and walking around. Her new family will want to help her build confidence in the city.
Mulan is a very affectionate, good tempered pup.
Mulan has done well in her crate during the day in her previous home. Currently she loves following her foster sister around and when home alone she enjoys resting and relaxing.
Mulan loves to be cozy with her foster family and is looking for a quiet and lowkey family.
She appreciates downtime and some active moments.
She would be great with another dog at home and gets along great with others out and about.
Vaccinated for rabies, bordetella, and DHPP. Neutered and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
To apply for Mulan, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue.
