My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Larry is a charming adult male cat looking for his forever home! This friendly and sociable guy is always on the move! He will greet you at the door and is curious about everything going on around him. Larry's favorite activities include swatting at toys, bunny kicking, eating snacks and indulging in some catnip fun. While he's working on refining his love for playing with fingers, he's learning that catnip kickers are much more appropriate and enjoyable!

In his first foster home, Larry was exposed to other cats but prefers to be more independent in his playtime. While he's a very playful soul, he still needs some guidance with mouthy behavior and may not be suited for a household with children at this time. He's working on redirecting his natural instincts to grab hands when playing or being pet on the head, showing progress in overcoming this behavior.

Larry's love of snacks and wet food isn't detered by his lack of teeth - he loves meal times and chasing treats you toss! For some quirky fun, Larry loves playing with old socks - so if you have some mismatched socks lying around, Larry would be thrilled to have them as his toys!

He is a lovable and lively cat in search of a patient and understanding home that can help him polish his manners and nurture his playful spirit. He would do well with a kitten. You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
