Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cole is the perfect southern gentleman! A gorgeous black 10 month old Lab/Rottie mix, Cole was literally hours away from death in a high-kill shelter in Georgia, but the shelter staff loved him so much that they refused to let that happen. They raced against time until they found a rescue who could take him and we're very lucky to be that rescue. Cole is a beautiful, shiny coal-black from nose to tail with expressive sherry-amber eyes. For a dog with long legs, he is great on leash doesn't pull or race. Even on the 25 hour journey from Georgia to Connecticut and then to his temporary home, he was great in the car and in his crate. He's housebroken, knows how to sit, loves people and dogs, takes treats so gently, and then gives little kisses after see what we mean about the perfect gentleman? Cole is about 58 pounds, is up to date on all his shots and is neutered. Cole would do best in a home where he will get lots of love and attention and the occasional treat he definitely deserves it. If you are interested in this dog, please contact Christine at bbr.fostercare@gmail.com. Adoption application, references, and home visit required.Adoption fee is $200.
