My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coal O'Brien! Coal and his littermates were born estimated on St. Patiricks Day 2022, and were turned into the county shelter. Due to amazing luck of the Irish, A Kitten Place rescued them when they were just a few days. Coal and his littermate Snowball were adopted, and later the family added another kitten, Mocha, from AKP to their family. Recently, no fault of theirs, they were all returned back to A Kitten Place, and are once again searching for their forever homes.

Coal loves to play with any toys, lots of balls, but his favorite place to be is in the cat tower in front of the window! He is a fierce protector of his humans, of those pesky lizards outside, but what else would one expect from a beautiful house panther with a silky black beautiful coat!

Coal and siblings have never been around dogs. Coal would love to be adopted with either Snowball or his sister Mocha.

A Kitten Place is a volunteer based animal rescue in the Tampa Bay area providing foster care, which includes quality veterinary care, socialization and adoption placement to homeless and needy kitten and cats in the community. We are dedicated to not only finding homes for the adoptable cat and kittens, but also providing TNVR services when needed.
