My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki is a 5 year old handsome boy (born 3/30/2019). Unlike the Marvel Universe character who he is named after, he is a big boy weighing in at about 16.5 pounds at his most recent vet visit. He would benefit from some weight loss in his new home that can be achieved with exercise through play and a diet. Also unlike the Marvel character, he does not have a villainous attitude but instead is more like a super hero. He is front declawed and must be an indoor only cat just like he has been his entire life.

Loki has lived with his brother Thor for his entire life and they would do well together in a new home but they do not have to be adopted together but for a family that can add two great boys to their home, these two would be a great choice. Although he has lived with two smaller dogs in his previous home and he will play with them, he does like that whap them so he may do better in a home without dogs or at least only with dogs that are used to cats doing that.

He likes to be brushed and is a super friendly lap cat particularly at night and is independent during the day when he has some exploring to do. He may be shy when he first meets new people but will happily greet those people that he knows and trusts. He has done well with children who understand cat boundaries as well. Just like his brother, he does not mind being picked up and is a master “biscuit maker” with his kneading abilities.

Loki loves chasing a laser and appreciates a good cat nip toy. He is a playful and loving cat with many years of joy to provide to a new family.

Ask us about Loki today or even better ask us about both Loki and his brother Thor!

Additional adoption info

Individual and vet references are checked prior to adoption approval. Adoptions have a two week trial period as needed to ensure that the match between adopter and the cat is perfect.
