My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

adoption donation : $699

weight 37 lbs

Age: 10 months as of 9/15

Rusty is sweet boy who is friendly to everyone he meets and loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue. Rusty and his sister Bailey were taken in by W.A.G.S. after they were found wandering on a remote country road in a rural part of Mississippi in an area known for dumping dogs.

Rusty loves to follows his foster mom around, tail wagging. He likes to Play fetch and Goes right into his kennel when told to at the end of the night. He walks well on a leash and is house trained however we always remind adopters that all rescue dogs need some settling in time while they adjust to a new home.  Rusty has had his vaccinations and has been neutered and is a healthy and happy boy who will make a wonderful companion to the lucky family who adopts him.

Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 volunteer organization where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue.
