My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Colby – A Sweet and Resilient Soul in Search of a Loving Home

Colby is a gentle and affectionate dog who is ready to find her forever home. At around 10 years old, Colby is blind, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She adapts well and will need a patient and loving person to guide her through life. Despite her blindness, she’s sweet, trusting, and eager to connect with her human companions.

Colby is available for adoption or foster through Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue. She’s looking for someone who understands the special care she needs and can provide a calm, stable environment where she feels safe. Whether it's a soft bed, gentle guidance, or a lap to curl up in, Colby just wants to be loved.

Colby’s Ideal Home:

  • A patient and understanding adopter or foster who is comfortable caring for a blind dog
  • A quiet home where Colby can adjust and learn her surroundings at her own pace
  • Someone willing to give Colby the time and love she deserves

If you think you can offer Colby the care and comfort she’s looking for, please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful dog. She may need a little extra help, but in return, she’ll offer a lifetime of love.

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
