Sasha was recently pulled from ACPS and is now in a loving foster home in Jacksonville FL where she’s undergoing heartworm treatment. Despite everything she’s been through, Sasha’s spirit remains strong, and she’s longing for a place to call her own. She needs a forever home where she can rest and fully recover surrounded by love and trust. This beautiful girl deserves a family that will continue to care for her and love her even after she’s healed. If you’re looking to add a loyal, loving companion to your family, Sasha could be the perfect fit. Let’s find her the forever home she deserves!
Approximately 8yo; * Spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccines; * Strong prey drive - no cats; * Playgroup approved, slow intros required; * Best for a home with a soft male dog with rough play style; * Good leash manners; * Not a sports prospect; * Will receive basic obedience training once medical treatment is completed; * Follow up private obedience lessons available after adoption provided if needed.
Since Sasha is undergoing a heartworm treatment plan, any adoptions will be local to Jacksonville until completion.

The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration.
When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.
