Is she listening intently? Waving hello? Is she part unicorn!?!? No, it’s Chiquia (aka Bailey) and her cute ears! Unless she’s resting, you’ll see one ear standing up and the other one down!
Chiquia (aka Bailey) is about 5 months old, around 8.5 pounds and looks like a Terrier mix. She is working very hard on all the puppy things: she is crate trained and is learning to walk on a leash. She even does a great job at going to the bathroom outside if taken out regularly. She likes kids and other dogs, but isn’t sure what to think about cats yet - she has decided that chasing them will help her figure them out. 😉
Chiquia also has long legs and a great gallop which works well when she goes outside and has her zoomies! Don’t worry though, Chiquia (aka Bailey) is not 100% puppy mode all the time! Her foster family says she’s a perfect balance between puppy playfulness and knowing when it’s time to relax!
She does need a little time to warm up to new faces, but once she does …she’ll be looking for pets and cuddles. Chiquia also likes routine, is food motivated and is a fast learner. She has been protective over her food, but she is taking redirection very well!
Chiquia is a great companion and would love to find her forever family! She is up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots, is microchipped, spayed and is currently staying with her foster family in Kenosha, WI. Her adoption fee is $500.
